Hey guys, as you may remember back in 2006 I made this little club. Now I want to see who still hates Hotaru for who he is, and any new members that may want to also join. If you hate him make it known! Tell me if you will join.

I hated him so much in Deception. He only follows rules, (can be a good thing but when you put someone in jail for going out after 9:00 WTF!)
He turns on Shujinko reguardless of their former friendship. Plus he joins the dragon king. He was hard to handle in Deception (hes alright in Armageddon) but when I vs him on max difficulty he becomes one of the most annoying characters ever! Some of the shortest combos ever. and last but definetly not least his fatalities were boring. Well the first one anyway.
If you like him, this isent the place for you.

I'll join! His storyline is more of a filler with no importance, rather like Havik, Dairou, Kira, Kobra and Darrius.

I see. Well, you're right. Hotaru's decision to put Shujinko in jail for likely ten years was somehow ridiculous and his storyline is really unimportant... don't forget the fact that in D he has only two special moves... BUT I think Hotaru as MK-character is a truly sucessful creation... anyway, I'll think abou joining your club.

Sorry, but I don't hate any Mortal Kombat character. Although Hotaru was a bit strange in MKD. But isn't Hotaru's alternative costume pretty cool? Like a knight.

Yeah, I like his alternative. Reminds me somehow on the knight Kendal from Kingdom Under Fire... who knows...

Play MK1. Now tell me if Orderrealm, Chaosrealm or any of that stuff would fit in. It wouldn't. I think a darker MK is the way forward.

Hotaru can be cheap as hell at times, both in MKD and MKA. I think that's why I don't really like him.
