This means Monster was alive long before Hanzo Hasashi (Scorpion) was born. Monster is NOT SCORPION!!! Maybe he was one of the warriors Damashi recruited. Remember in Chaosrealm, some people say that they were one confronted by a spiritual being which asked help from them and they refused. Monster is one of them. It seems he accepted becoming the champion and he copied a Shirai Ryu member's moves or he was a Shirai Ryu ninja.
