i was just thinking if it turns out damashi is part of onaga and not an elder god or whatever he said he was[/color]then maybe "monster was really the chosen one. maybe?

i know ive heard that. but its scorpions whole fightings styles and moves ina diff costume. i dont think it is scorpion. i know its originally supposed to be his alt costume. i know all about that stuff. but why didnt they just name his scoprion?

i thought monster was cool. i always thought he was scorpion because scorpion is known to pull his face of to reveal the skull underneath. its just the way that scenario read out for me. i havent played it in a while tho so its a bit unclear to me. did midway ever officially say monster and scorpion were different or the same person?
id like to see that look return as an alt for scorpion in a future game.

Monster's design was Scorpion. It was what he would've looked like if they went with him being teared apart in the void.
They didn't like the attire because it lacked Scorpion's traditional colors. Not ditching it, it was still put into play as a different character.
Monster was the original chosen one of the elder gods, but after he couldn't get the job done, he was replaced by Scorpion in deception. Shujinko thought he was the next, but he was deceived by Damashi.
Now, it is unclear what's next.
