cant figure this move out help!

in the cheats it says press up(2), down, up, down, circle(2), triangle, square(2). I cant do it nothing happens it is supposed to take 1/2 his life away on anyone except scorpion. Can someone give me a hint or something. Does (2) mean push it twice? maybe I am doing it wrong can u clarify.

lol wtf u go to the official forum to ask about cheats? anyways I didn't know there were cheats perhaps that is when you have a gameshark?

Yeh if it says (2) then press twice.
And if it doesn't work use Game Shark

Is that for a specific character or are you using like code breaker or something?
