Mk: Deception online stats problem

when I play Mk:D online the fight works fine but when i get the message: downloading stats, the game locks up. what can i do?

hmm i tried it and it works for me.. Im not sure. try it again, i use to have problems connecting to the game. just let it sit for about 5 minutes, turn it on and see what happens.

Believe me, I've tried about everything. Waiting for 20 minutes, resetting, re-installing network configurations, ...
My first guess would be that the server is down for the moment but I'm not sure.
Or maybe it's my connection.
To go online, I must use a crossed network cable and connect that one to my ethernet card located in my computer. From there, I can acces internet.
Could it be that my PC network configuration is wrong or my internet settings?
I've tried playing other on-line ps2 games and they worked fine, just the game I love the most doesn't.

I have been having the exact same problem, it's really frustrating, because everytime i try to log on now, it just "freezes" at the Downloading Stats part.
I have tried leaving it for several hours, but nothing happens.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Who is your internet provider? I use Scarlett. I believe it has something to do with that.
