Top 15 strongest MK fighters(STORYLINE WISE) in MKA

1. Taven.
-All in one day, he was able to battle a legion of enemies, including Raiden, Fujin, Scorpion, Noob Saibot, Sub zero, Daegon, Kintaro, and Goro, and at the end of all of that, take on Blaze, who was so powerful that his sheer inner power released upon his death was capable of killing all of the Kombatants fighting their way to challenge him.
-After defeating the fire spawn being, he becomes a God, Protector of Edenia, and grows in power drastically. He can stop time, teleport, move at the speed of light, and has control over fire, superhuman strength.
2. Blaze.
-In his ultimate form, where he's a being of pure fire, he can't be defeated according to his creator.
3. Raiden(Dark)
- Has enough power to destroy reality. Beat Shujinko, who is argueably stronger than Onaga.
4. Shinnok with his amulet
-Is stated to be on par with Raiden but lost the battle to him millions of years ago.
5. Scorpion(Empowered by the Elder Gods version)
-Overwhelmed a perfectly healthy Onaga.
6. Onaga (with Kamidogu and amulet).
-In spite of losing to Shujinko, Onaga, with relative ease, was able to trounce three incredibly powerful warriors. He is exempfied to be totally immune to projectile attacks. He even survived "Raiden's final explosion", which is marcilous in my books.
7. Shujinko(Powers absorbed)
-Has a canon defeat over Onaga. However it was weakend Onaga he defeated but nonetheless, he beat Onaga. It's also geniunely debateable if he could beat a full powered Onaga.
8. Noob Saibot
-The reasons why he is seventh is the fact that he beat powerful warriors like Goro, Scorpion, Fujin(A God), Quan Chi.
9. Fujin
-Fujin's power is really vague.
-However, I would put him over guys like Shang Tsung and Liu Kang though just because of the fact he is a god and he was chosen to be the protecter of earth, in which, in my mind, is a massive responsibility to cope with.
10. Liu Kang
-An extremely powerful human being.
-He indeed the "chosen one". He holds victories over superhuman beings like Shao Kahn and Shinnok(without amulet though but still very powerful).
-He can morph into dragon when needed thus it gives him signficant edge over his adversries.
11. Shao Kahn
-Has over class 100 strength, energy blasts that kill gods and mountains, the strength and power of thousands of dead souls trapped inside him, and the use of black magic puts closer to guys like Onaga and Raiden. Also losing to Liu Kang puts him there as well.
12. Sub-Zero
-With the dragon medillion, he beat hundreds of Tarkatan warriors, who have shown to be unstoppable to the likes of Kung Lao, Jax, Kenshi etc.
13. Shang Tsung
- The use of black magic, morphing to anyone, and the ability to manipulate fire puts him in the thirteen spot. Losing to Liu Kang a "million times" also puts him there as well.
14. Quan Chi
Is an extremely powerful sorcerer, who know how to use magic to his advantage. He is also said to be on par with Shang Tsung but it's geniunely a tie between the two.
15. Ermac
- Extremely gifted with the use of telekinesis
-Is composed of millions of souls, probably each soul is worth about the power level of 100 or more.
-Defeated Kung lao, kitana, Cage, Sonya, Jax with ease

Ermac needs to go higher because beating 5 very powerful characters *including Kung Lao who is almost matched to Kang in a way* has to be worth a better merit. It is also told in his MKT ending that he is atleast matched to Kahn. Their battle is so great that when Ermac does defeat him, a large portion of Outworld is destroyed. Even though some endings like that are non-canon, they are still true to the "what if" fact meaning "if he did fight Kahn" which he never got the opportunity.
You say Shujinko can beat Onaga but he comes after him on the list. He also beats "Elder God-Powered Scorpion" in konquest meaning he'd go before him as well. You also forgot to tell that he has the combined might of everyone you saw in his MK:D ending which has been greatly underestimated by Midway if it is true. He should be able to crush mountains with that kind of power! (Not like I want him to though)
Dark raiden can not destroy reality. l0LZ! That's in his non-canon MK:A ending if he did beat Blaze.
Blaze is not supposed to be undefeatable. That is also in his MK:A non-canon ending because of the whole holy men corruption thing done to him during MK:DA. If that were true, he could obviously beat Taven easily then which he didn't.
n00b isn't really that powerful truthfully. He only defeated Goro from behind. He just seems like a guy Liu Kang could beat in an adventure game. Sub-Zero also drove him off in MK:SM which means he'd have to move below him.
Liu Kang is capable of defeating Raiden. He is a very quick individual and had enough strength to defeat the likes of Kahn(who can beat Raiden), Goro, Shang Tsung(who beat Raiden in MK:SM towards the beginning), Shinnok, and many others throughout a long time period. He obviosly needs to go up as well.
Fujin can't be that powerful. He was defeated by Sub-Zero in MK:Mythologies after he had already fought three other elemenal gods as well. Gods are not all that much more powerful compared to other super-powered beings in MK.

Do you remember Sheeva pwning both Nightwolf and Ermac in the beginning of MKA?!?!... that is until Kenshi slashed her down. You can't really create a list of the most powerful MK character because it's too broken and faulty, there will always be someone who can take on who you think is the most powerful character and vice versa.
