I have Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance (made in 2002?) and Mortal Kombat Armageddon (made in 2006?). Both games are for original xbox.
MK: Armageddon has WORSE graphics than Deadly Alliance.
>Why?
1. How do I make the graphics better in Armageddon.
2. Why does the newer game have worse graphics than the older game. This doesn't make any sense.

Not much you can do about it, but the game does look better on an HDTV.

MkA is a Totally Different Graphic Experience in my Full HD 1080p TV. Setting the in-game Video Settings: Widescreen & Progressive Scan to ON, this Experience starts

well, I discovered that if you put the contrast all the way up in the game and mess with brightness a bit, the lighting looks a little bit better.

Well,look how many characters,arenas,etc. there are. Plus,look at KAK,Motor Kombat,etc. I'm guessing it was more about the gameplay. Look at how faster the fighting is compared to MKDA. MKDA was a tad bit slow in the gameplay.

Depending on which character you use in MKA the gameplay can be fast or slow. Example is Sub-Zero his fighting style doesnt allow for a fast paced gameplay. His style is slow. Im not sure who is a fast fighter but all I know is that in MK vs. DC for the sake of fast movement. The fighting styles must be fluid-like. Like I can chain moves together so fast ill be amazed at what im doint. Like VirtuaFighter5. I just played the demo on My 360 and played as El Blaze and the fighting was so fast and so fluid I was amazed. And then I played MKA and chose Subby and I was like holy-turd! MK is slower than some fighters! I wanted to do some moves like Virtuafighter but I couldnt! Subby is way to slow.
I heard in an interview that MK vs. DC will be fluid-like, where you can do a combo and chain it with a special move! An example for Subby in MK vs. DC:
Punch punch punch kick kick punch uppercut sweep low kick kick punch punch punch punch kick FREEZE!
Oh man I can picture that moving so quickly!
