You know the Devastator weapon in the Kreate A Fghter mode, that weapon was supposed to be for Reiko, but they gave a moderized version of it to Fujin. It says on Wikipedia that they gave him the hammer and appearance to mock the whole "Reiko is Shao Kahn" controversy.

You know how Shao Kahn's weapon is the Wrath Hammer, that was probably a reference to the Star Trek movie The Wrath of Kahn.
