Can I manually select Arenas

G'day
I was wondering if i can manually select arenas in MKA
and if so how?
i really want to be able to choose an arena of my choice

you can only in vs and practice i believe its either L2 or R2 you got to unlock them first

I hate that too. Not being able to pick the arenas you want to use in Arcade Mode and playing the same old ones over and over again. That really sucks. I still haven't played in some of the arenas I unlocked in Arcade Mode.

Yeah! You can only choose arena's for VS or Practice, tis stupid like Tej-Paul said. There are some very cool arena's that don't get used at all in Arcade.
Like the Shinnok's Spire (I think it's that), it is the one where you fight on a spiral staircase. You can either knock opponent down the stairs, or you can knock them of the side, where they will fall onto the spikes of a chandelier. Quite a cool arena that is.

mine too but i cant seem to get past kenshi's training mission
do you know where i could get a complete save game file for ps2 so i can have everthing for arcade mode

First thing, don't triple post here, I'm not having a go, just saying, as people don't like that round here.
Next time you post something and then would like do add something else try editing it first, unless someone has posted something after yours. You have 90minutes to do that, so just bare that in mind next time OK? Again I'm having a pop at you man, just some friendly advice OK?
Anyway, back on topic.
Yes, Deception is my favourite MK, Deadly Alliance is close second.
I can guess that you are stuck on the long-ass combo of Kenshi's right? The last one of his too. The one where it changes through the 3 fighting styles. That is one freakin annoying combo, it took my ages to finally pull it off.
Just take your time with it, not too long obviously, but there's no need to rush it.
You will probably find a Savefile on most gaming websites, IGN.com, codejunkies.com has some I think, best thing is to Google it, type in what you are looking for and it should give you some options, OK? Hope I've been helpful.

i double posted cause i didnt see the edit message option
im either blind or its in a bad spot or its a poorly designed website and i dont think its the last one so it must be the middle
anyways yer i gave up on deception about 3 weeks ago cause i just completely lost interest in it cause i couldn't do it
i wont let a game cause my stress factor to rise past 1%
anyways i wonna use liu kang on deception but i canttill i get through the game
in armageddon im fighting shao kahn atm and damn it his hard to beat
im confident i can beat him though but with kenshi's massive combo its damn near impossible

You know despite unlocking them, I still haven't played in Shinnok's Spire, Shao Kahn's Throne Room, The Pyramid, and The Netherrealm Cliffs.

Eh, all the arenas are virtually the same anyway. There's space in the middle, with maybe a few obstacles/weapons, and death traps along the edges. I myself don't care which arena is chosen.
