I was wondering if Jax's ending in MKA could or should be canon? I mean since that the MK team has taken his character in an off-set direction...with metal arms and then cybernetics. Since Jax got totally screwed, I think that the MK team should have him return in MK8 as a cyborg and evil in some way. Also give him all his special moves from MK3.

what up with mk character getting drastic changes and the catch is that they have to be evil.
liu becomes a zombie and turns evil.
rain founds out he a prince... and still evil
raiden comes back from the dead and turn into the punisher.
scorpion was a rival clan member got killed turn evil found out sub he kill isn't the sub he looking for turn good then turn evil after ... he read the script then join the eldergods and become god then turn evil. god it like a soap opera.

I dear hope that does not happen. He is my second favorite character and if he became full cyborg it would compltetly destroy and ruin the character. IMO their better off killing him for good.

I know the MKA endings are not canon but may be hints into the direction they are taking into MK8. If you pay attention to the endings of MKA you will notice that a lot of major characters take an evil role and I am guessing that most of the heroes are going to be bad guys and new heroes will have to face them. think about a minute.

Those are some cool ideas. I personally just wish he would come back the way he was before they stereotyped him up. I think everyone here knows what I mean by that too. Jax was a respectable character before MK:DA.

I don't think we should take the entirety of any ending as canon, as it is practically confirmed that Taven defeated Blaze, but we can take bits and pieces from them. One of these bits and pieces would be Jax as a cyborg. It is a pretty fair extrapolation of Jax's ending and Sonya's bio that Jax had been captured by the Tekunin somewhere between the end of MKD and the beginning of MKA. If Jax became a cyborg and if he returns for MK8, it is probably best to say that the Tekunin had already began turning Jax into a cyborg if the process wasn't already complete by the time of the battle at the Edenian crater.

I don't mind the gun, but the "bling" has to go and the stupid quotes like "aaah yeeah..." and "That's what I'm talkin bout" are just ridiculous. Yes Jax is black but he doesn't need to be a stereotype. That's just sad. He was never like that before. It's like they were sitting around discussing characters and someone said "Lets make him act more black!" Really Midway?????

Why having Jax evil or neutral and has a cyborg? He's a really cool agent and his looks fits to that role. Honestly i hate characters when they begin to change sides with no apparent reason.
