I know you all will think I'd say "Taven". And, well, he'd be alright, but I have always konsidered Scorpion like a good friend.  Yeah, I know it sounds cheesy, but he's always been my favorite and I could always mop the floor as him whenever someone challenged me to Mortal Kombat.
So, final answer? Scorpion, with an extremely updated, sophisticated KAK engine so as to be able to accurately rekreate ANY kharacter from Mortal Kombat's history AND to better kreate any kharacter.

i don't know why my last post got deleted, but actually, if i had to reassess, i'd agree with tavinfan... scorpion is the heart of the mortal kombat franchise... him and sub-zero have been holdin it down the hardest, and while sub-zero has the rpg on ps... the solo shine should definitely go to scorpion next.
goro would be a good crossover character tho. he'd be my second choice.
