I don't know. I do know Australians are descended from criminals in Europe though. The only other Australian stereotype is The Irwin.

Rather than criminals from Europe, basically just Irish and English prisoners.
Kano never struck me as an Aussie, though. That's one thing I didn't like about Mortal Kombat from the beginning ... everyone was either American or Asian, and nationality didn't seem to matter.

Man, the Asians in MK are funny. But I hate them though, Liu Kang especially. I have a good rant about him in the MK General board in the topic about Liu.

That's not why I hate him. I liked Fei Long from Street Fighter, and he's a rip off of Bruce Lee too. I just think Liu Kang is a really BAD rip off.

Goro and cage have no real rivalry. The only reason these references have been made over the last few years are due to the MK movie where Cage defeats Goro. Everyone who wasn't updated on the true story where Liu Kang beat him thought that it was really Cage.
