Not really if the Kombatants are given their own statistics and such.
But he said if any character could have a selected technique. I mean think, they'd all be characters with no differences except look and their specials. It would just be better leaving them with atleast A fighting style that no one else has. I'm not saying use the same one all the time but, you know.

Yeah I agree with that, but the idea I had 2 post ago about the Statistics and Fighting Styles and Weapons combined, that would be an awsome system.

It's more interesting if they mix them up for every game, especially with the more popular players. If they don't do that, then you kinda know what to expect, which lets a lot of people down.

I think they should change the ifghting styles but at least keep the special moves that make the characters who they are: Can't have Ermac shooting Red fireballs!!

Some should really get a better style and weapon. My biggest complaint being Noob Saibot. Monkey and the Troll Hammer. Honestly, it's like they gave him the leftover crap styles.

It's almost certain that next MK games won't have the fighting styles sysytem back but just getting all characters to 2 fighting styles instead of 3 kind of made some of em weaker. Of course the characters should keep the same fighting styles in all installments but MK8 will most likely ignore that system.

Yes, but without question, the styles should definatly be expanded throughout the game. But the same base fighting style would be better than completely new ones each game. Another idea (I don't know if it's been said already) is that maybe you could choose your fighting style before the match, so you wouldn't have to be great with just one character. But then again, that would take much away from the lesser characters, and they probably wouldn't be used as much.

they need the same special moves, for the next one, they need to take all the specials, and all three styles they used.
and they need the o.g. fatalities, eff da kreate-a-fatality, they need to incorporate that as a brutality tho.
