Unfortunately not other than the gameplay mechanics will start from scratch and that it will be darker and grittier. Boon or the MKteam also said that the first bit of news would most likely/certainly be near the beginning of 08'. Sounds logical as the beginning of the year of the release of MKDA, MKD, and MKA is when info for those games started coming in. Hopefully and I'm sure that it'll be worth the wait. MKDA was a huge upgrade for the MK series and I do not doubt that MK8 will be as well.

If they postpone it's release, it's a good thing. That means that they are not rushing anything. I really hope they care about this game. I want to tell them to get inspired, take their time, and make it rock solid.

I'm truly sorry if I seem stubborn, but would it better to have MK8 soon, and it be weak and terrible, or later and it be strong and amazing.
I remember everyone waiting for Armageddon, and yelling at midway to not postpone it, well they didn't. And it is so bad and rushed that we already want the sequel sooner. I learned my lesson, and I'm not gonna rush midway again; and you all shouldn't either. Just stay calm, relax, wait, and enjoy the hype.
