Serious guys show some self control. Ed Boon and the team is doing this because they need the time for MK8. I think it is fine to do so as long as we get a new MK game. As for the biography's they are not that important if you know their ending in MKA. Please don't kill me because I do not agree with you

Well first welcome i'm subby_is_great secend i do have self control but spaeking as a big MK fan we was promised bios now we are angry for not getting what we were promised.

We have been promised, screwed, lied to, screwed again with more empty promises while being lied to at the same time for so long, that this really doesn’t feel like a surprise, but it’s still a huge disappointment.
This game was supposed to be the final epic showdown story wise: We were promised finality, conclusion, tying up loose ends, etc etc etc, but we didn’t get any of that, well, at least for more then half of the characters of MKA…there is a huge story, a very interesting and complex one, and sadly, they didn’t deliver the final product they told us they would. MKA has/had so much potential story wise, at first it smelled ridiculous, but with the delivery of the online bios and how some of them tied to Konquest, wow, it felt great! But:
They lied again.
MKA was a mess in many many many huge ways, starting with the fact that they didn’t deliver a proper product with the well developed story/bios they promised, and ending with the fact that it seems they don’t care anymore, lying yet again that we would get the finality they promised from the very beginning.
How horrible and annoying. IT SUCKS!
Its almost like none of the other characters even matter now. Only those who got a decent/awesome bio and a part in Konquest. The rest are very unlucky.
Its like they aren’t even in the game, even if they have endings, because like we all know, almost all the endings of MKA were insulting, and even if there weren’t any bios, there just isn’t an excuse for such horrible writings, specially considering this was “the game that would end all”.
This sucks horribly.
So many characters, not one bio in the game, and only a few official bios online.....they screwed MKA in many ways, and by doing so, they screwed MK in general as well.
It might not be the end of the world, but this is definitely a huge disappointment, though like many, I'm not surprised…and people, that’s not good…at all. Are we really this used to all of these stuff?

Shang Tsung wins. Flawless Victory, FATALITY jk . The endings in MKa arent that helpful though, and they probably are working on MK8.

Time for MK8 is a piss poor excuse. You know how long it takes to write a bio once you already thought of it in your head, probably like 5 minutes, 20 at most if your a slow typer and suck at grammar. I can tell you for a fact that most people dont work all 8 hours in an office job. Im sure Vogel could take 5-10 minutes out of each day to come up with a bio.
The endings is a good excuse why we do need the bios, I dont think any MK fan would make the case that those endings are cannon. Possibly one of them is canon, but they all contridict each other so there is no way to tell which is canon.

Cinder says they are putting all their resources to MK8, resources usually meaning time and money. How much time does it take to write a bio, and how much money? The anser is "next to none". The excuse given was truly a bad one. I cannot help but feel they are being lazy.

This is very true. Midway (Boon)made a broken promise of Bios and now has an obligation and they have to follow through, to stay loyal to their customers and if MK8 has similar problems I really see their downfall, not a smart move at all (no offence Boon and Midway I respect you guys but you are making poor decisions).

In all honesty, while this is a blow, I feel confident that the fans can turn it around, for two reasons:
1) The fans have made a difference before. Ed Boon admitted that Khameleon was added to the Wii version of MKA because of fan demand for her. If we can get them to add an extra character to the game, we can get them to write a few paragraphs of bios and post them online.
2) Ed Boon isn't the final say regarding this. He's not the head of Midway, so his decision could be reversed by someone with more pull.
I still feel good about the chances of seeing MKA bios in the future, so long as enough people make enough noise.

remember way back with kenshi and shinnok's bio
it simply said they both rally up all the other fighters to battle pretty much selected all of them. except those that have ether been undead(liu kang) or left the major realms(nitara,with a side bonus of ashrah) now shinjinko and mileena explain how shinjinko got caught and shin response to saying he let himself get caught(which was mkteam best effort to make shin look cool... but didn't do that much help.).
khamillion bio explain where she was and onaga explain how really kill him. rain well... explain how he was following taven and daegon to get the prize himself since he is related.
with mk from the start they lead bread crumbs around the plot so that their fans would have to ponder about what happen.
im a shame that you still didn't get it.
