i can't play with my kustom on xbox live? can anyone help... :))

i can't play with my kustom on xbox live? can anyone help... :))

when i started i created a character right away.. i tried him a few times on xbox live with no problems (other than gettin my tail handed to me).. after some fine tuning and upgrades i was ready to put him to the test but for some reason i can't select him (or the blue & red boxes). i created another character under another profile and they work fine but my main profile character can't be selected.
i made sure that kreated fighters are allowed and am having the problem both challenging and hosting the matches.
i tried the L trigger in character select to sign on (like in 2 players on the same system)but that didn't work. tried login out, and login back in. turning my xbox off... login on, edited character, saved character... no luck.
any help would be alsome

If you edit your KAK when not connected to Xbox Live, The KAK can never be used online.
