Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Reptile are confirmed survivors. I think Raiden has a good chance. I hope Reiko goes forth as well. I hope Rain gets his head blown off.

Not possible,that'll transform the game into Ninja Kombat.:P
On the other hand,i believe Scorpion,Sub-Zero,Raiden,Liu Kang,Kung Lao,Kitana,Mileena and most of the classic characters will survive.

Ok seriously now lol.
I think Raiden is going to play a huge part in the next one with him being currpted. I also think the Outworld is going to start to tear apart. With it ruler MIA due to the dragon king flying off with him I see each of the realms that make up outworld either via for control or literlly tearing their piece off.
Mortal Kombat: Battle for the Realms has a nice ring to it dont you think?
SubZero and Scorpion will be there, it wouldnt be mortal combat without them. Sonya and Kung Lao will probably be representing earth. Reptile will be in there. Reiko will be representing Outworld itself. Other then that I expect there to be more new guys then old ones.
