	The histories make them evil. Tanya was a noble seeking power so she betrayed her realm. Mileena however, is more complicated she is a clone who was made to believe she was Kitanas sister, to make things worse she was given tarkatan features both to serve as evidence that Shao Khan was their father and to attract Baraka to serve Shao Khan. When the truth is learned her entire world crumbles. Not only does she learn she's not a princess or Shao Khans daughter, but she also has to face the fact that she didn't have to be deformed but rather was made so to suit Shao Khans purpose. Ofcource Kitana was less than kind to her when she learned the truth as well so Mileenas desire to reclaim all she'd lost by killing Kitana isn't that surprising plus it makes a great story.
