Franchise CB interceptions

My franchise CB doesn't ever go for picks
he is like a shutdown corner
He will sometimes automatically take a player out before the pass gets there and only gives up about 1 catch a game but never even tries for picks
this doesn't bother me my other CB's and my safteis get lots of picks
I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen?
