	hey everyone im in the beginning in division 1 played my first game beat aztecs 70-0 but my problem is my defense i need to make it better because i had trouple beating miami in the division 2 championship game so i need to know how i can get my defense to the top of the line thanx everyone for the help -----signature----- Winners never Quit and Quitters never Win And It is always better to understand less than to misunderstand a lot.

	thats not a surprise if first starting out. the division 2 championship is probably hardest game in campaign mode. if u train ur defense in speed and agility mostly your guys will be dominant defense just breaking teams down with dirty hits and injuries.

What do you mean? what is your objective? you shut them out...what else do you want? No matter how good your defense gets, you can not make them have a negative score ; ) btw DO NOT save GAME 2 DIV 1 until franchise injures tyler neal. YOU MUST HAVE the blonde to get 110 stamina for everyone in the end. If you have to buy the extra injury drug, then do it. If you have to eject the disc to UNsave the game, and start over do it, but do not move on until you do it right. as far as your question, if you shut out Mexico City, your defense is fine. I will RE-iterate ...DO NOT CAUSE MORE THAN 4 INJURIES WITH FRANCHISE IN GAME 1 DIV 1. If you do , you get an upgrade that is PERMANENTLY REMOVED in game 2 div 1. PS You can expect to play several campaigns to get a good team, but as was said a speedy agile defense is a good idea. -----signature----- BLITZ! BLITZ! BLITZ!

	thanx im working on making my linbackers faster but know matter what i do my secondary gives up alot of long distance throws and that frustrates me cuz im putting their hands up but they still dont get alot of interceptions -----signature----- Winners never Quit and Quitters never Win And It is always better to understand less than to misunderstand a lot.

The trick to killing those long pases is 1)learning to JUST KNOCK THE RECIEVER OVER, you will get a penalty for PASS NTERFERENCE....but ..oops no you wont...NO RULEZ NO REFS!!! OR Learn to relax on those buttons. When the other team hikes the ball, is it a pass or run?? IF a run.....KILLEM.... IF A PASS..and you miss the sack (dang it) THEN......RELAX ON THE BUTTONS...... WHEN THE QB THROWS...RELAX...2) HIT THE PLAYER CHANGE BUTTON..make sure YOUR player close to the pussy reciever is highlighted,,,,and HIT THE "Y" button to intercept... There are other secrets like who you you are like QB/LB... TE/CB...WR/DB...ETC... and who you select....like DAMON OR SULLIVAN etc.. these affect how you will do. post some tips of yours, and I may suggest whom to pick. KNOCK THEM OVER, OR USE THE "Y" BUTTON AT THE CORRECT TIME. -----signature----- BLITZ! BLITZ! BLITZ!

	after division 3 was over i got freeman cuz my secondary needed work but thanks and sometimes i'll have like double coverage on the reciever go to a guy near him and press y and he still catches the ball and whenever i try to knock him over i usually miss!!! :[ -----signature----- Winners never Quit and Quitters never Win And It is always better to understand less than to misunderstand a lot.

	Freeman is a wise choice. Knocking them over is learned,,,keep practicing, and realx on the buttons....cuz you get one chance. You get one chance to knock him over, then you are just laying there on the ground.... Sometime the game juts gives it to them too,,,, so having a good pass rush ...FAST KILL THE QB helps eleimnate the issue before it starts. Try the play... BALANCE - ZONE BLITZ... BEFORE the hike Bring sands and tarr up to the outside of the DT line.. then bring another blitzer behind sands.... you control the "another blitzer behind sands" i use franchise for this... THEN the hike... the the QB will "magic evade" sands,,,but when the BS QB magic stops.. he is defenseless SACK!!!! KILL EM.....OUT FOR 6 GAMES... -----signature----- BLITZ! BLITZ! BLITZ!

If you are planning on playing online you must consider what your plan is. IF you plan is RB ... I will come for ...and I will hit him..and accumulate extra icons for doing that to your captain. If you plan is QB.. I dont think runnung a QB EVERY play is football or ,,,fun.... some folks like WR....I dont know..I like a running online game,,,, if you choose TE........it has a good play book, but there are danger there too. As far as on D??......well I think CB is best. IF you choose the other position correctly, then you Freeman/Tirpitz at safety..and Fanchise at CB. There is no simple answers. I advise you to spend an hour or two reading this meassage ENTIRE board....read a lot of threads, i intentionally placed great advice in wierd places, so people have to hunt. The reason is most people dont appreciate it, so why give it away easy? If you appreciate it, return the favor when you get better, and tell us ( at least me through PMs ) something I dont know........I know there is more. Play humble, play to kill,,,but dont brag. You will spend a lot more time than 2 hours playing through campaign and the things you will learn in a mere 2 hours are worthwhile, and know this, it toook longer than the the 2 hours to write what it will take 2 hours to read. dont misunderstand my tone ,,, I am not crabbing, or unhappy,,,, I love this game, and I am happy to help, but it is a (mostly) thankless job, and I have seen my advice used against me, while other dont tell.....but I like to help...and be helped.. anyway... I am just telling it like it is, and recently I have stopped doing that,,,but you had good questions, and said thanx.....so....kewl.....viola : ) so BLITZ ON!!!! -----signature----- BLITZ! BLITZ! I am devising some plans to do better than I ever have. We must have a great campiagn, make a lot of money, and know who and what to train with what about what, I am ready. I am going to be a lil more secretive this time, but if we chat online I will tell you what is up. It was made clear by some on this board that THEY DO NOT AGREE WITH ME ABOUT SHARING INFO, THAY HAVE MADE IT CLEAR THAT THEY DO NOT share tips, and that is fine, so I will play it a lil closer to the vest this time, BUT I will still help new players get going, and I will resay what I have already said, but I wont give away the new info until others do the same.
