I ACTUALLY QUIT FOR AWHILE BECAUSE I COULDN'T STOP THOSE DANG MICHAEL VICK'S AND VINCE YOUNG'S. I MEAN I COULD, BUT IT WAS TOUGH.
NOW THAT I'VE EXPERIMENTED WITH THE DEFENSES. I'VE DISCOVERED A WAY TO PUT AN END TO THAT MULARKY. I USED SLAM, SIDE BLITZ, AND BUM EDGE. THE PROBLEM IS THAT IF THEY'RE NOT RUNNING U BETTER GET SOMEBODY BACK CUZ THEY WILL AIR IT OUT. SO ITS A GAMBLE. MOST OF THE TIME I'LL GET THEM IN THE BACKFIELD. SOMETIMES THEY'LL BREAK THE TACKLES AND RUN IT ALL THE WAY BACK. YALL KNOW HOW THAT GOES. IF U HAVE ANY BETTER SCHEMES LET ME KNOW.

Try picking Balanced D and Double Spy. I blitz with one LB and the other one stays back and shadows the QB. You dont have to blitz tho, both LB's can spy.

This is a great thread.Blitzing from both sides is a good idea. A corner blitz will surprise him. When the the running QB gets a good stiff arm, you have to tackle him on an certain angle. When they get the stiff arm going, then it might be impossible to stop it. Timing your tackles when the running QB stiff arms is key. If you can get him before he does it then he will have to make adjustments.

I DO DIRTY HIT THE QB, BUT ITS USELESS WHEN THEY HAVE THE NO STAMINA LOSS ON HIM. YEAH I KNOW ABOUT THE STIFF ARMING TECHNIQUE. I USUALLY JUST GET THEM FROM BEHIND, WHILE THEY ARE TRYING TO STIFF ARM ME. THEY GET MORE YARDS BUT U PREVENT THEM FROM GOIN ALL THE WAY. (FOR THE TIME BEING)
I'MA HAVE TO TRY OUT THE DOUBLE SPY. THANKS A MIL

I never saw this before but in one of those tips that you see while the game is loading it says "To stop a running QB, use a spy defense". I started doing this and it really does work well. It keeps your LB's in a position to attack him, I'd try that out. Where do you have Franchise on defense?
