The responsibility becomes learning how to stop and hold that person. I actually like it when theres someone who only runs with their QB... it makes it easier for me to shutdown their offense. If you're a good player then you can do this. Also, if you know what you're doing on offense you're NOT running your QB all the time. Building a good TEAM is whats key. This game IS like real football. It's not all about one person. A perfect example is a game I played last night. My Franchise QB was knocked out in the 1st quarter for the entire game. The backup QB is literally unplayable. He is GOD AWFUL. Realistically he can barely get away from any defenders at all. I still stayed in the game and ended up losing in the final minutes. My point is, because I had a good TEAM and I played smart with my play calling, I was able to be very competitve against someone using a running QB. I honestly think the reason alot of people don't like these broken QB's is because they are hard to stop. If I have an unstoppable running back who I run everyplay, would that be a problem? The reason that NFL QB's aren't running all the time is because it wouldn't work right... until... the Wildcat offense. If theres a way to make it work, then it gets done.

They are broken the only reason you don't think so is because you us a QB franchise. Also you couldn't run with a RB franchise and have the success as you do with a QB franchise and if your as experienced as you sound you should know this. RB franchises suck and you know it so that was a weak counter.

RB franchises suck and you know it so that was a weak counter. I've played many of the top players and beat some, I've played many of the top players and lost to some. I've also had many campaign teams with Franchise at TE and WR. In fact, when I worked my way up to #1 it was with a TE/LB combination. Even sitting here now thinking about it, I'll probably try another one of those. I think you're all taking what I'm saying a little wrong. I'm not trying to brag, I'm not trying to say how good I am. In fact, I'll be the first to say my game has slipped a lot of late. I also have no problem saying I'm probably just as lucky as I am skilled in playing. I'm very humble and have no problem saying I probably don't even deserve to be ranked #5 anymore. But I did work my way up there and am proud to be there. What I am saying is that I don't like when people say it's "cheating" or "unfair" that someone has a QB they run around all day with. I'm saying it's part of the game, so people can do whatever they want. It is then OUR responsibility to stop that person. I've also noticed the players that are ranked high DON'T run around all day with their QB. They play a much more balanced game because it's much more effective that way. The LAST thing you want to be in this game is predictable. That's a major thing that gets you beat. I've found through playing that if someone is CONSTANTLY running the QB and that is all they can do, then there are ways to stop them. I've found ways that work and I'd even be happy to share them. OF COURSE it doesn't work all the time, and of course it can be a pain in the ass. But a perfect example was a game I said I played the other night. My QB got knocked out in the first quarter. It made it alot harder since my backup was SLOW AS LIFE, but I still managed to keep the game within one score. Wanna slow down their QB? Hit him again and again. When you're on offense, target him on unleashed moves. Theres alot of things you can do to make it a not big factor. Heres one trend though I've noticed online that is becoming increasingly more popular and harder to defend against... RIGHT at the snap of the ball the player on offense goes into clash mode and bangs out a QB Evade. It's almost impossible to defend because your lineman are RIGHT THERE so it works everytime. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to defeat this. My thinking is theres nothing you can really do about the evade move, but it does leave the QB right in the pocket and vulnerable to a backside rush. Just a heads up to keep an eye out for this, and what to expect. Finally, I'm not here to argue. I'm not here to say I'm right and anyone is wrong, that would just be silly. Honestly, all I really want to do and have done since I started posting is to try to help people with the knowledge I've acquired by playing hours and hours and hours of this game. My only point with this subject is that I don't see anything wrong with the crazy QB's now and even when I didn't use them. And to try and say don't stop playing because of it, it can be stopped and contained you just have to work at it and figure out how you want to do it. Thats all. With that in mind I probably won't comment again on this issue. Feels like all these threads just turn into arguements instead of fun topics or helpful tip threads.
