..... but then I realized that the tips weren't for YOU,
they were for anyone reading the board..........

exactly.......good job : )

So now for some tips, though I'm not sure how accurate they are:

Il read and answer along with you

Training:
0. Training session is when you can train your team to increase their stats,
before most games but not the prison game, not sure if the stat increase is
in effect before or after a game, probably before.

That is a good point,,I need to track to see if the
training before that games carries over for other players.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY ASSIGN TRAINING! The computer seems to pick a stat
for each player and stick with it no matter how stupid it is to do so
(see later tips for examples). It's fine in the beginning, but as the season goes on,
it can really hurt your team's growth.

and I notice thecomputer give NO Rsesit injury,,,,I have
never even attempted to let the CPu do the work....NO PAIN NO GAIN
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. The higher a stat gets, the less it gets increased per training session.

You can use the +1 juice to help out when this starts to happen
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Don't try to max a single stat's upgrade before getting
other stat's upgrades. It's better to spread the money around
in the begining than focus on a single stat.

well rounded growth is good....dont let your right arm,
get too much bigger than your left arm,,switch off ; )
---------------------------------------------------------------------

4. I'm not sure how the game assigns how to train players,
but it seems that postions are assigned a set of stats that
they can train and no others. IE you can pick that a QB can
train in speed, Pass, or agility, but not block. I have heard
people talking about almost maxing their Franchise's stats,
but I don't know if they were lying

I feel like there are qwuite a few people who lie, a lot,
I dont know why...but I just ignore them....

or it was because of the postions they chose for Franchise,
or if theres a trick to being able to switch around what a
player can train in, but right noe My Franchise has a dismal
34 in hands as a HB and he's always fumbling and has a hard
time catching hail marys.

excellent point....all speed no hands = no good.

try to ALWAYS train a level of 4 of better.
you will learn what pople need, and if you gonna give it
to them later , give it to them early, whne if i a
level of 4.

I dont train my blocklers , wioth blocking until
I upgrade blocking, so they train at 4.

MAINLY to learn what the CPU likes you to do,
after Div 3, go to rooster and check out the
3rd 4th string players..how are they being trained?
compare and contrast.

5. There are groups of postions that get assigned the
same training pool and once a stat is picked to be trained
by someone, the others in that group can't train in that stat.

Note that some groups get more than one of the same stat.
IE QB, HB, FB can train in speed, agility, or pass.
If HB trains in speed, then FB can train in agility or pass, but not.
A combonation of this and #2 is why #1 can cause problems.

I ma not sure what you mean here.. ?

6.100 is the Max a stat can get trained,
not sure how equipment affects the stats, I think you can
see it add more to the stat. You can still train in the stat,
but it won't increase anymore. This is another reason why #1 is bad.

I spent two training sessions with Franchise on speed before
I realized the damn computer hadn't changed the stat to train
after Franchise had Maxed his speed.

ONLY WHNE THE LIGHT GOES OUT is it maxed.

the training will show "0", or now more tainging applied
whne it is maxed.

7. Drafted and injured players coming back aren't assigned any training.

DO NOT SAVE AGMES WHERE A PLAY IS MULTI GAME INJURED...JHUST DONT DO IT.

8. If a player is in the high 90's and two training sessions
will have points left over and wasted, either wait to be able
to buy an upgrade to get the points to perfectly match,
or wait to get an equipment upgrade.

not sure what you mean here.....

I think that's all I got right now,
hell I don't even know how right that stuff is,

IT IS PRETTY GOOD INFO, AND SOME HERE appreciate it,
KEEP PLAYING AND LEARNING and posting..and maybe it
will spark up your game.

and ignore the PABs here..there are a LOT OF THEM.
they are here to piss on your campfire or lie or
hold back info,,,,just ignore them, and keep moving
forward..and in tyhe end it will all work out.

which is why I'm hesitant about putting it down here.

dont worry about it...

Better to be silent than give the wrong answer to confuse people.

as long as you lable what is FACT..and what is opinion, it is ccool

WHO NEEDS A GUIDE??

uh...maybe this guy

"today i play it i go to division 2 but the stupid game started to cheat me when you go for tara you have to injure someone so im laying dirty hits on people, im laying unleashed hits, no one got injured then my franchise gets injured, and then my team end up injuring the guy I was smacking up all game but now he wants to get injured when my guy isnt in the game"

yeah the inury in the 404 can be tough, sometimes.

wanna knew the trick??...could you use a guide ???

Before this game ...buy the juice which allows
increases stamina loss to other players whne you apply dirty hits.

Here is a secret tip...cuz Iam imnpreesed with the
author of this thread, Aximus, so and I will "give one up"..another one : )

in my opinion,, if you buy the solluston juice(sp?)
for more than one player,, it "leaks over" to
other players...what does that mean?

well,
if you buy it for one,,whne you apply a dirty hit,
the stamina of that player will drop...BUT...
if you had bought it for two players,,the satmaina
drop would be even more.......in my opinion.

in this game I buy it for 3 players....

see?...THIS GAME IS EASY >>ONCE YOU KNOW..

but hey....maybe we should listen to the
EXPERTS who ONLY txt msg here Y u ned a guuie??

AND..I have found it might be best
to cause the injury by using franchise ON OFFENSE,
to casue the injury.

the game is teaching you here..IF YOU LISTEN!!!

it is teaching you this..
YOU CAN CAUSE INJURIES WHEN YOU ARE ON OFFENSE...

My pleasure to help out those who help back,
BUT..if you KEEP all your "precisous"info...
please dont read this thread, and forget everything
you leanred here, you dont deserve the knowledge.

My goal was create a level knowledge field, and then
let strategy take over, but some dont wanna share,
they only write txt msgs ...idfk w.

as for me...
I stand on the shoulders of those who came before me......
it is only fair to pass on the knowlegde,

I dont find it amusing seeing PABs NOT SHARE,,
and then laugh at people whne they learn someone
make the same mistake they did...ahaha HAHAHA ..yeah so VERYfunny. : ( NOT!!

So you're saying you know every glitch that can mess up your perfect team? You know all the hidden things to do to get all the sponsers? You have the perfect tactics for dealing with the cheapass AI? You think new players have the knowledge what to and not to do so they don't waste hours of their time building a team that ends up being terrible? I'm sure even you, your highness, have questions that you wish you can easily look up the answers to. This is a message board where people need help and putting together a guide would probably actually do some good for people who spend an hour looking for the anwser to their question, only to find a vague, half anwser. This is not an easy game if you're trying to put together a team that'll actually have a chance to be good online. I've spent hours trying to figure this game out and having a laughable manuel doesn't really help. I don't want to waste vaulable time figuring out something that 90% of the people on this board know. Someone asked about equipment and if higher equipment gets replaced by lower level equipment if you get it afterwards. If there was a guide with glitches listed in it, Greg probably could have avoided his problem.

Also I figured out some things after beating LA that are wrong about training that I had in my earlier post.
1. You can only train three people on your team in the same stat. There aren't any groups like I thought there were.
2. Once a stat hits 100, if it's automatically trained, it can still be picked, but once you manualy reassign it, you can't train in it any more.

Also I learned that the LA Riot are ass****s.

did i say i knew every glitz no still u dont need a simple Guide to tell u what to do or where to go and so on, thats what i ment i beat the game, i never needed a "Guide" and plus LA is easy in the Division 1 championship game

From my understading, hands help you grab and hold on to the ball. Also they seem to help my O-Line players hold on to their blocks just a little longer

I think we should put together a list of things that certain training things help (though they might not say it outright).

EX: Strength increases the seriousness of an injury and raises the frequency in which the opposing player is injured.

For instance, my FS, DeMariuss Nickerson... has a pretty high strength rating. If you get him by him, you're much more likely to be injured (about 50% of his hits are injuries), and you're more likely to have game/season enders than minor injuries (ex: There have been many more broken collarbones than neck strains. LOL)

See, you learn something new everyday.

Speed: Makes you run faster, although the computer sometimes makes this feel useless sometimes when you max it out and the other team catches up to you after a hail mary pass and going turbo.
Agility: Makes you dodge faster, or something. Not quite sure what it does, maybe juking faster.
Strength: Causes more injuries and I think makes it easier to break though blocks.
Hands: Easier to catch passes and less likey to fumble.
Pass/Kick: Throw better passes, somehow. Also makes better kicks, though thats only for kickers.
Break Tackle: Does what it says, increases the chance to let you break tackles, although it seems my Frachise seems to be easily tackled even though his is in the 90s.
Tackle: More likey to not get brushed off by a defender, may increase injury chance.
Block: Easier to block people trying to get though and hold them off longer.
Resist Injury: Less chance to get injured

If anyone has anything to add, feel free to. Also recommandations for what stats each postion should focus on are welcomed.

I thought i read somewhere on this board that Break Tackle also helps D-Lineman break through the pocket.
