WHAT DO YOU PLAY ON??? ,,I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW.

I am going to upgrade my game box from my X-box to ???

Do you think I should I buy a Sony or a Microsoft?
I am pissed off at MSFT cuz Their stock sucks SO BAD for 8 years, and they
cant get Vista right..and they Blew the YHOO deal, and
I dont like them anymore...well not as much anyway...

Although I made a lot of $$$ with MSFT in the past,
they seem to have lost thier grip on domination, along my respect.....

SSSOOOOOOooooooo....Which is better for online play?

I have never played online, but the time has come, and
I better get used to the controls before BII comes out.

Who has the klllerest setup for talk/hear/connect/play?
remote? controls? headset? BLU ray DVDs???? easy...quailty

How much should a good well-equipped syetem REALLY cost? NOT the crap retail base unit..I mean a KILLLER SYSTEM.
We spend enough time playing, we might as well have the best, eh?

This is a NOT a NON-Midway question.....

THIS IS A MIDWAY QUESTION, becuae I would love to
hear from designers at Midway....what do they suggest?what do they play? what do they test on...which system?
WHAT DO YOU PLAY ON??? ,,I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW.

I respct the good Blitzer's opinions over the blow hards...so what is the
best???..turn key???..and how much do you think it cots?

WHAT DO YOU PLAY ON??? ,,I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW.

I am trying to make the same decision right now.

I am leaning towards getting The PS3 60 GB version. The 60 GB version has backward compatibility, so if you have Blitz or any other ps2 games, You can play them on your ps3. You can't do that if the system is only 40GB. The PS3 looks like it has a better o-line package than 360.The Blu-Ray Movies are unreal. Blu-Ray beat HD-DVD. So it's going to be around for awhile. So when you get the PS3, You are also getting the best DVD movie player on the market.

X-Box 360 has slightly better graphics but from what I have heard and read. The system has technical problems. You gotta worry about discs not being read and sending it in to Microsoft for repairs. That's crazy. If you are spending 350 to 450 bucks. The system better work.

I am still doing research and weighing my options but I am leaning towards the ps3.

I am also doing research on the two systems and I've found that a lot of people get the red ring of death mostly from over heating.

PS3 has had its share of problems too. A friend of mine had to trade in his 40GB model due to some major overheating issues not too long ago.

I'd rather give birth to a chair than see an MK vs. DC crossover game.
Goodbye, it's been fun. I'm leaving for good. Take care, everyone. peace

I do most of my gaming on my 360.

However, you can build a respectable gaming PC for a grand.
The trick is to buy the parts and assemble it yourself. Good places to shop are sites like newegg.com or frys.com. Their prices are good and they can sell you OEM OS software on the cheap.

I'm sure Midway tests on the what's considered "entry level" PC components for the time all the way up to your high dollar stuff.

So you have both, and I guess you like the 360 better then?

360:

360 is a great console with a wide variety of games. As far as Mortal Kombat goes, you can play MK:Deception and MK:Armageddon on it and via XBLA you can play Ultimate MK3. The one thing that brings down the 360 is the fact that the consoles are prone to RROD (red ring of death) basicly your console just phails and needs to be fixed, but I believe that M$ offer a 3 year warranty on consoles now. Also 360 has come down a bit in price, so thats good to.

PS3:

PS3 is still in it's early stages, GTA IV has helped expand its player market and now that HD-DVD is dead PS3 has also had a big boost because of its in built blu-ray player. As far as MK goes, you can play MKII in HD buy downloading it from the PS3 store, its like 5 bucks. And depending on the model of you PS3 you can play backwards compatible titles.

Hope that helps!

Regards,
-TMK

I finally sold enough blood to finally buy the XBOX 360elite box. It costs 499 PLUS...PLUS.... PLUS..
yaknow? dang add-ons..... plus plus plus

I did negotiate a great deal (in-store / online )
AND I did buy the EXTENDO warranty thingy so IF/WHEN
a new model with a BLU-RAY player comes out, I imagaine
my box will break, and it will be replaced with a BLU-RAY
version....so we shall see.

I usually hate the extendo warranty thingys...BUT
this "BET/WAGER"...PLUS BREAK DOWN INURANCE .... who knows.

ANYWAY ...I asked you all..... so that is waht I did.
Thnak you to those who gave me good tips....

NOW.......
I just bought a used "Blitz THE LEAGUE X360 DISC".....and I will be "training" until........
THE REAL NEXT ( NEW GAME )SEASON STARTS IN SEPTEMBER......
