Saving the Rookie

Just wondering, when you save the rookie, does it show the cutscene of him getting hurt, then you use him for the rest of that game against the nightmare and on? I tried to save Jonas, I didn't even have him on the field, I threw a deep bomb to Maas and scored the touchdown. Then, it showed the scene of Jonas getting hit by Sands, but I still had Jonas? I was just wondering if it always did this when you save your rookie?

I've never seen that. It's always moved the backup to my starter's position. I will pay closer attention to it in my next div1 game1 game.

On PS2 it's 50/50. The last time I saved my rook, no cut scene. In the past I saw the cut scene late in the game. I was scared I accidently had my rook in but I still had him after the game.

if you have jonas or kilgore and save the rookie i get that cut scene in the middle of the 3rd quarter usually. with wescott i dont cuz you play str8 D 2-4 qrts.
