Try checking some of the help topics like GreggNKC's. There are others, some on this board and others are shown via links.

If you are gettin dirty hit. It can lower your grade thus lowering your rating.

gambien, you should be checking your team status and injury report near the end of every quarter.
You should probably check around the last 5-10 seconds of every quarter.

So in a regular game, you would have checked the status 4 times.
The reason for that step is to ensure that you don't have players taking dirty hits, that you are unaware of.

If you let a player get dirty hit and don't heal him in between games, it hurts your stats.

furthermore, you may have a player that is prone to this and not even know it.
If after checking your stats you find that is the case, this tells you that you need to beef up that player.
Normally , you will need to assign them to resist injury training.
That usually does the trick.

I hope that this info is helpful to you.
Let me know how you make out.

Were any of those dirty hits in the 4th qtr?
Especially the 4th qtr of the third training cycle?
that is really the only way I can see you getting your rating.

Not to state the obvious, but your score of 6-5-5 is 1 bad turn on defense 2 on offense.
The average of the two would be a 5.

This can happen in many different ways.
Most people look to the most obvious factors, many often than not.
But many times, dirty hits or injuries is not where the bad turn came into play.

If you are doing everything correctly, as you stated earlier, then it could be incorrect training of your players.

Have you referenced the player edit area?
There you can measure your starters agianst the backups and verify that you are correctly training your team.

Outside of those three things...I would be stumped for a reason as to why you are not getting your 7-7-7.

However, I would strongly sugest looking at your training, as I have seen that cripple many 7-7-7 chases.

Oh, sorry...

I wasn't trying to avoid answering your question on equipment.
(I was getting to it) lol

Equipment does indeed help tremendously.
The most important pieces that you NEED TO AFFORD are:

Helmet: (resist Injury +10)
Shoes: (Agility +5 & Speed +4)
Shoulder Pads: (tackling +7)

The ones you can afford to do without (for the most part) are:
Gloves: (Hands +7)
Arm Sleeves: (Break Tackle +7)
But, if you can afford them all, get them!

Additionally, I expect ( because I hate assuming ) that you have purchased all trainings.
Is that correct or no?

If not, try to keep in mind that all these items build on one another.
First are player abilities.
Then come trainings +5.
Next comes steroids (+5% and sometimes as much as +20)
Then finally equipment purchases (+2 up to +10).

In the point system, these are all parts of the same pyramid.

At the top of the pyramid per player, you get the A+ rating.

I hope the above last part makes sense.
I read it over and the whole write-up just bugs me for some reason.
I don't know if I explained as best as it could be, but I tried.

Let me know if you have a problem with any of this.

so sorry to reply back so long been on probation. i probaly know why my rating is like that my rookie is kilgore and he's been hit pretty hard a few times and i saw the diffrence between him and wecott.of course when your wescott your not likely to get hit so much not even at all,but kilgore he might throw your team kinda off track.if you have any other suggestions please let me know.
