Sorry for re-inventing this topic but...
YAyyyyyyyy!!!!!
I finally got this xbox360 achievement!
I have a tip for everyone who is trying to get this one, too!!!
I am sure someone else may have said this, but I don't believe that I saw any elaboration on it, at least not simple enough for noobs (like me), to grasp.
Anyway, when you are playing the campaign, make sure that you are using your clash to avoid with your QB, do this at the very least 2 times then throw for your touchdown which will make it a combo. I think you get more credit at the end because of this.
Another thing I did was waste all my clash on the 2 point conversion, which would result in getting the 2-3 remaining clash icons needed for the unleashed meter. This also resulted in my getting anywhere from 2-5 extra icons (which you don't see when the play is over because once you go unleashed it seems to stop counting them).
I wound up getting almost $300K, which I felt was great for my first time passing the $250k milestone to get the whale achievement.
Now keep in mind this is all assuming you are doing your part on defense, by landing Dirty hits on the offense, which earns you clash icons as well as laying in unleash hits.

Do it. I had this game for a while too, and then I stumbled across this forum and got back into it (BIG TIME).
Prior to this forum I just played the game straight out and it was pretty much like any other football game (to me).
But after I read all these techniques that some of the people here are employing and the goals that they have set forth, like trying to get a perfect team, 7-7-7 or 8-8-8 whichever it may be, and on how to get all the equipment by the end of the game, it's like a whole new game.
I am definitely having fun communicating with everyone here in trying to get all these achievements.

A lot of people here play online too (including me), so go ahead and dust it off and good luck.

But in all due fairness...wouldn't that still be considered another trick, like the codes?

the codes do nothing to help u unless u count co-op there just to make the game for interesting after u beat like beach ball trippy ball trails see that 8-8-8 craps is like invinceiblity i games like goldeneye wats the point of it it ruins gameplay

Going back to crazy's original post about this, he only mentioned that he was 8-8-8 and that 7-7-7 was not in fact the highest possible achievable stats.

in some ways yes but over all the team is just more complete. everyone has maxed speed, agility, n resist injury. defense all have maxed tackling. offense has all maxed break tackle. the qb has maxed strenght, speed, agility, hands, break tackle, arm strenght, arm accuracy,
n resist injury. the 8-8-8 is only cuz i have maxed damn near everything for every character.

half that stuff u dont even use like hands on the qb and strength resist injury on defense doesnt help it out it just makes them look better break tackle on ur whole offense is understandable now if u woulda just told this at the beggining u wouldnt of been so hated now that u come and tells us excatly how u did i can understand y u got it but its the same team as 7-7-7 just with the useless stuff maxed

ok my kicker has maxed speed and tackling. most ppl would say that is useless but when u think in onside kicks its not that useless. n the qb has hands cuz he is like a RB or a HB with qb sweep and qb draw. thats y the team is that good. with the copy system u can get a kick ass team with everyone maxing what they would need. yes TEs arm stuff makes them an A- but if u have the arm stuff, speed, hands, break tackle, and resist injury. with blocking also u have an all most unstoppable team. if u put a created team against the all american with they having one default season(no extra training) the created team gets eaten alive against the all america but they r still a 7-7-7 the team can't be made as good as the american without the copy system.

(modedit: profanity) i own the all-american team with my 7-7-7 and my failures like my previous best 6-5-6 cuz my friends always pick the all-americans and i own them and they all and wen i play the all-ameicans for training to get my game better i beat em like 56-12

Is it just me or are the Redhawks(div 3 game 3or4) a tough team to beat down for money??
No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to really rack up combo's against them.
