Let me first apologize because this may appear to be a bit on the long side. This is obviously not targeted at the PAB's but at the rookies (like me) and early vets  .
 I have read so many guides here that I also have to apologize to whoever was the author of this part, as I have forgotten in which guide I read it. I believe that it was MMERC who stated the above. He also tried to cite the original source, which was from these boards, but it was from over a year ago.
I played my div 3 #1 game and not only did I not lose my rookie to Quintin Sands dirty hit, but I was also able to make my wager spread of 21 points!!!
I found that if you beat them down quick, you can get them to fumble at least 2x in the first quarter. This coupled with 2 of your own TD's can give you a 30 point game before you start punting the rest of the game. And if you are lucky and can get them to fumble close to the goal, you can even kick a FG at least 2 times.
Obviously a lot of other players are a ways better than me, but I do have to say that I had a very hard time building up clash while punting my game away, minus sacking the QB behind the line.
 The most frustrating part for me is that I am still having problems getting over 200K, and in the particular game that I saved (as I was tired of playing it); I had to settle for $157K. I played it over 5-6 times, but I could never get my winnings much higher.
I really want to get this whale achievement over with already.  lol
If I could figure out how to make more money, everything else would fall into place. This damn whale achievement is driving me nuts!  LOL
I will admit that I didn't do everything I was supposed to do early in this career, partly because I had just stumbled upon this 7-7-7 thread late into my div3 games. So unfortunately, I saved a few games that had dirty hits and if I understand the guides correctly, it's also in this division that you can make a lot of money. I had already played a good majority of the games, like 8 or 9.
So, it looks like the most obvious answer may be to start thinking about my 3rd career  . I am in div1 and in my 3rd game I believe, and my team is only 5-4-5. I sincerely doubt that I can make 7-7-7 from where I am at.
Regardless, I wanted to let everyone know that saving the rookie in Div3 Game1 does and can work rather easily. In the guide that I read it did say to expect a loss, but I was able to win and win the wager.
I will be sure to post when I start my 3rd career and add anything I think can help anybody out.

you can also waste time on the clock by picking the fake field goal pass and throwing the ball just dont score during the 2nd half or the rest of the game just keep throwing and when u get close to the endzone punt

If your rookie is the QB he would be the holder. If your rookie steps on the feild after the 1st qtr Sands WILL get him.

Damnit, you're right.
I was so caught up in the excitement to type up how well it worked out for me that I missed that!!!

Well, I completed another season and I have to say, the Fake Field Goal does in fact work.
I am not crazy about how well the nightmare pick up on it tho'. Perhaps I wasn't executing it in the best manner, I am not sure as I have only tried it the 1 time. They even intercepted it 2x.
Next time I play, I may not save the game, so as to play it over a few times. I have never used that play before and it felt laborious using it, over and over.
I may actually try for the 7-7-7 team this time.
I'm just not sure yet if I want to put that much time into it.
