But I always wondered, of all people, why Hotaru? I mean I know its because it balances out Havik's chaos, like Fire is the yin to Ice's yang, but still why choose Hotaru? Why not take Quan Chi's, Shinnok's, Shao Kahn's, or even Shujinko's power? I think than in the Mk World the four elements are Fire, Ice, Order and Chaos. So, its not depending of the character who uses them, only the element than they have.

THIS NEXT SCENE INVOLVES A PSYCHO MAN GETTING BEAT UP BY SUB-ZERO, SCORPION, AND ERMAC WHO WORK AT THE ASYLUM. IF YOU PERSONALLY DISLIKE PSYCHO PEOPLE GETTING BEAT UP BY ASIAN PEOPLE, DON’T READ THE NEXT PART!!!!!!!!!11111 Shao Kahn is now frozen. Scorpion leaps forward and kicks the living crap out of Kahn. Ermac does a quadruple telekinetic slam on Kahn then shots Hado energy, knocking him toward Scorpy. Scorpion then stabs Kahn with his spear end and slices. Sub-Zero finally jumps on Kahn and stuffs an ice ball in his mouth. Then, the ninjas lift him up and Scorpion ties him up with his spear.
