The bio is perfect, and its lucky number 7, and right after Johnny Cages! :-D. **THE GOOD** *Personality* First of all, I really like the way she “speaks” (as to say) in this bio, you always get a light of the characters personality in the bios when reading them, because it is as if they were really speaking to you and you figure out a bit how their personalities work. Once again you get the confirmation of her true loyalty towards the forces of light and her world, its awesome to see her speak proudly of her realm, but its even better to see her “dangerously angry/calm” when it comes to threats that harm her world and that break the laws. A strict stern severe bitch with an attitude. I just love that about Sonya. You hear her speak in a calm way but you know she is dangerous, and when affronting face-to-face the situation, you know she will release the anger and sarcasm we all love. As she said in Konquest: “I have FULL authority". That line just plain rocked! She definitely sounds like a leader here, and as believed, the main leader of her organization. *Black Dragon/Red Dragon* I love how she refers to Kano as a “particular thorn in her side”. She despises but finds the time to mock him a bit I guess. It’s just great that they decided to give Sonya new stuff to worry about, new threats etc, and unlike some people believe, the black dragon story has been away from her character since MKDA; her main mission in that game was to save her partners, worry about the safety of her organization, and of course, fight with the heroes to defeat the deadly alliance. But its good to hear she has more important matters now into her hands, and Im guessing she still doesn’t know about the “new black dragon” criminals. That would had been nice to know about. But we STILL need closure, if the Black Dragons and Red dragons are still active, its all known that they will, whether Sonya is facing them directly or not, still play important roles in her character, and that she will eventually have to fight them all again. That’s one thing I didn’t like about this bio, but more of that later. *Tekunin/Sektor* I loved the idea since day one, ever since the Tekunin clan was confirmed as part of the storyline in MKTE, I knew they would somehow tie with Sonya and the Special Forces, making Sektor another of her many main enemies. Also, it was assumed in the past that there was a rivalry in the way because of MK Golds story, where it had Sektor, in the endings, kill Sonya, and Jax for helping Cyrax, who died as well. I love that they (well, I talk in plural guessing that Ed plays a role, but I guess Vogel takes most of the credit in the bios) made her angry about this new threat and how she is doing all she can do, and that’s all, to stop them. With luck, this rivalry and storyline will be continued in MK8+, this is the twist Sonya needed, but if she is to return, I do hope to see more new stuff. But who is Sektor working with? Who did he have to ally with to have more chances in his evil plots? Could it be Shinnok? I really like this bit of still un-covered info, cant wait to see whats in store. Good enough for the discussions. *Jax* Wow, some awesome new details here. Its really cool to know he and Sonya are as close as ever as friends fighting against of all that its evil. Its also cool to learn that his ending in MKA finally makes a bit of sense. So, he was captured, and rapped by Sektor, all sounds great for Jax fans, he will finallky get his twist! I just hope they don’t seem to suddenly forget his scary rage, developed during MKU. I really like that he was mentioned in her bio, it gives us more to wonder. **THE BAD** Well, its not really horrible stuff but I feel Sonyas bio should had covered a bit more that went unnoticed, which sucks: *Taven* Her confrontation with Taven should had been mentioned, though not really necessary since its already in Konquest and we know why they fought, it would had still rocked to see her interact a bit more with him after the “I have full authority” speech and after she telling him she will keep an eye on him. If she really said that its because they actually talked and she learned more of him. *Deceptions idiotic death/resurrection crap* Once again, my fears that the stupid killing of the heroes during MKD was unnecessary and lame are confirmed. No real detail of that incident is mentioned. I mean, did she even die????? Did all the heroes really die or were they just enchanted? Or where only some enchanted and not killed? I just hate how little info on the Onaga thing is given from the affected characters. Unless Vogel or someone else has a bright idea to shock us in the future about the consequences and effects of those deaths, its all worthless. They all seem to be happy and ignorant of what really happened there. It would had been nice to at least read a bit of bitterness, confusion, sadness and anger about that incident, but so far, zero. Hopefully its written all in one bio (say, Shujinkos, Liu kangs, or Ermacs), about what were their reactions. If they cried, screamed, felt confused and torn, etc. *Kano, Mavado and the Black/Red Dragons* Though it has already been established that her main concerned is the Tekunin, because even if she defeated them they have not been truly annihilated, it would had been nice to read more about these villains. I mean, does she know about the “new black dragons?”, is she aware that Kano is still alive? What are her feelings towards the red dragons now that they are gathering strength? Does she even know Kira? Is she aware Kabal betrayed them? Etc. If Daegon is still involved in the futures storylines with Sonya, then these two might have some sort of rivalry eventually. He is leading an enemy clan, thanks to him it was created, he is to be detsroyed. *Johnny Cage* Though not really important because it can be assumed already, it would had been nice to read about him informing her of the new threat. We can assume he eventually found her and told her about this, and she agreed to go to defend the worlds again, but a bit of interaction would had rocked, specially since (as an immortal Sonya/Cage shipper) I had hoped they would had given a sort of clue or indication about a possible romance between the tough blond and the movie star. Oh well, I guess no more bios will even touch that little possibility, but with luck, in the future, a romance might be developed. *Cyrax/Kenshi* A mention about these two would had been nice. I guess Cyrax might be on a mission or left the SF, and I also guess Sonya didn’t really care about Kenshi, since she didn’t complain about his departure either. So overall, this is an EXCELLENT bio, and I take my hat off for Vogel who did an excellent job pleasing not only Sonya fans but also the general community for this kick ass bio. Good job Vogel! We love you! :-D I just hope you read a bit of our suggestions and guesses so you can see what the fans want or are wondering or complaining about. Good job!
