No seriously, it's unlikely, but some people are BOUND to do that, and I know people who would steal an older friend's lisence or birth certificate, I also know people who would let them. It's not as easy as that to fake being older. I can spot a teenager right off the bat, usually. And yes, in every batch of applications, there are always a few that try to claim they are older, but are rejected for being underage just because I can tell that they are. Any 14 year old that says "but I'm really mature for my age!" is just being.. well... 14. I know. My son is that age. And believe me, no matter how mature you think you are, you .. aren't. No offense meant to the younger set, that's just pretty much how it is. Every 14 year old has said/thought that about themselves. It's actually part of the process of growing up. And every 25-30 year old has looked back on those times and laughed. There are differences in the way the brain processes information at that age. Suddenly, they can comprehend SO much more than they could as a child, and so it seems like there couldn't possibly be that much more to learn, so they feel adult. It isn't until later, looking back, that kids realize that there was. Anyway, sorry.. got off track. Brain development and the teenage years are a special interest of mine.

People of all ages make mistakes.. But the younger generation do indeed make them more often, and when corrected become very defensive as well as offensive. I guess that is also one of the things that proves a person's maturity/immaturity.

Yes, I contract with another company, and Midway contracts with me through them for forum administration. So I don't work for Midway directly, and I get no benefits (insurance, etc), but I do get to work from home. I also do independent contracting with other companies, as well. Thus far, I admin or co-admin 3 forum systems.

I'm seeing more and more adults that are taking the same attitude that it just doesn't matter, so I'm not convinced it's a "youth" thing, but more of a "culture" thing. Makes no difference to me, really.. the more people that can't communicate well, the better my kids (who are homeschooled and do communicate well) will have it in the job market, when they get there.
